Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking with Hello Victoria Tours. By confirming your booking, you agree to be bound by the following conditions.

1. Prices

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and include GST (10% Goods & Services Tax).

Public holiday surcharges apply due to driver penalty rates.

2. Cancellation Policy

Except for unavoidable circumstances, the following charges apply to cancellations:

  • Inside 72 hours of departure: 100% of the tour price.
  • Outside 72 hours of departure: 25% of the tour price plus pre-committed expenses.
  • Outside 7 days of departure: No charges other than pre-committed expenses.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes.

3. Weather Policy

Tours operate in most weather conditions and will only be cancelled due to extreme weather that poses a safety risk.

Weather conditions can vary greatly between Melbourne and regional destinations.

The driver has final discretion to cancel, shorten, or alter the tour for passenger safety.

No refunds apply if a tour is shortened or altered due to severe weather.

4. Bushfire Policy

During bushfire season, certain areas may become unsafe. We work closely with emergency authorities to plan safe routes.

Tours may be rerouted or cancelled at short notice.

No refunds apply if tours are affected by bushfire danger or related safety restrictions.

5. Pick-Up Service

Complimentary pick-up is available from Melbourne CBD and select inner-city locations.

Please be ready at least 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time.

Delays can impact the day’s itinerary due to driver hour limits.

If running late, please call +61 434 412 288 immediately.

6. Driver Hours & Safety

By law, drivers cannot exceed 12 hours of total working time from first pick-up to final drop-off.

Delays during the day may require skipping certain attractions to comply with fatigue management regulations.

7. Child Safety

Passengers must advise at booking if a child restraint or booster seat is required.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and wear seatbelts at all times.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of children during the tour.

8. Passenger Health

Please inform your driver before departure of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

This information helps ensure appropriate action can be taken in the event of an emergency.

9. General Conduct

Hello Victoria Tours accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred while on tour, except where required by law.

A reasonable level of mobility is required for some tours, which may involve walking, stairs, or uneven ground.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Offensive, intoxicated, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund.

10. Wine Tour Conduct

Wine tours are intended for responsible tasting and enjoyment, not intoxication.

Intoxicated or disruptive passengers will result in the immediate termination of the tour without refund.

No alcohol may be consumed on board, and open containers are strictly prohibited.

11. Liability & Risk

All tours involve some degree of inherent risk. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Hello Victoria Tours holds $20 million in public liability insurance and conducts all required safety procedures and risk assessments.
