Jackets, pants and other snow clothing can be hired before travelling up the mountain.
Snow boots
Waterproof snow boots are available to hire if you don’t have suitable footwear.
Ski & snowboard equipment
Skis, snowboards and boots can be hired if you plan to spend time on the slopes.
Lift passes
Required if you plan to use the ski lifts. Lift passes should be booked separately and in advance during busy periods.
Tobogganing
Toboggan hire and access to designated toboggan areas can be arranged separately at the resort.
Ski & snowboard lessons
Lessons are available for first-time and beginner skiers and snowboarders and should be booked separately.
Snow gear, lift passes, lessons, tobogganing and paid mountain activities are not included in your Snow Day price.

Mount Baw Baw’s snow season typically runs from June to September, with natural snowfall supported by snowmaking in parts of the resort. Snow conditions vary throughout the season, so we recommend checking current mountain conditions before your Snow Day.
No. If you don’t have suitable snow clothing or equipment, we can stop in Noojee before heading up the mountain so you can arrange snow gear hire. During busy periods, we recommend arranging your hire in advance.
Yes. Mount Baw Baw is particularly well suited to families and first-time snow visitors, with snow play, tobogganing and beginner-friendly activities available during the season. Child seats can also be provided on request; please advise the ages of children when booking.
Yes. Mount Baw Baw offers skiing and snowboarding, including terrain suitable for beginners. Equipment hire, lift passes and lessons are not included in your Snow Day and should be arranged separately if required.
Your Snow Day includes private return transport from Melbourne and Mount Baw Baw resort entry. Equipment hire, lift passes, lessons, tobogganing and other paid mountain activities are at your own expense, allowing you to choose how you want to spend your time on the mountain.
Yes. Food, drinks and resort facilities are available within the alpine village. Meals are at your own expense, and we also stop in Noojee on the journey to the mountain.
There is a walk from the visitor parking area into the alpine village. Your driver will help you get oriented on arrival and arrange where and when to meet for the return journey.
Alpine weather and road conditions can change quickly. We monitor conditions before and during the journey and may adjust departure times or travel plans where necessary. If conditions make travel unsafe or the resort is inaccessible, we’ll discuss the available options with you.
