Tour FAQs
Mount Buller’s snow season typically runs from June to September, with natural snowfall supported by snowmaking across parts of the resort. Snow conditions vary throughout the season, so we recommend checking current mountain conditions before your Snow Day.
No. If you don’t have suitable snow clothing or equipment, we can stop in Mansfield before heading up the mountain so you can collect hired gear. During busy periods, we recommend arranging your hire in advance.
Yes. Families can enjoy the alpine village, snow play and beginner-friendly activities without needing to ski or snowboard. Child seats can also be provided on request; please advise the ages of children when booking.
Yes. Mount Buller offers ski and snowboard terrain for different ability levels, including beginner areas. Equipment hire, lift passes and lessons are not included in your Snow Day and should be arranged separately if required.
No. Your Snow Day includes private return transport from Melbourne and Mount Buller resort entry. Lift passes, equipment hire, lessons, meals and other paid activities are at your own expense, allowing you to choose how you want to spend your time on the mountain.
Yes. The alpine village has cafés, restaurants and other places to stop for meals, drinks and snacks throughout your time on the mountain. Meals are at your own expense.
On arrival at Mount Buller, access from the day visitor parking areas to the alpine village is provided by the resort’s transport system. Your driver will help you get oriented on arrival and arrange where and when to meet for the return journey.
Alpine weather and road conditions can change quickly. We monitor conditions before and during the journey and may adjust departure times or travel plans where necessary. If conditions make travel unsafe or the resort is inaccessible, we’ll discuss the available options with you.
