Tour FAQs

Are entry tickets included?

Yes — your tour includes entry to Sovereign Hill and the Eureka Centre. We handle the tickets so you can head straight in.

How much time do we spend at the Eureka Centre?

We include a dedicated visit to explore the Eureka story, the flag, and key exhibits. Exact time depends on daily schedules and your interests on the day.

Is there time for mine tours, gold panning, or the gold pour?

Yes — we plan time for Sovereign Hill highlights such as gold panning and demonstrations like the gold pour. Underground mine experiences operate on set schedules and may be limited; your guide will advise options on the day.

How much walking is involved?

Mostly short, easy walks on village streets and paths. Surfaces can include gravel and gentle slopes. We keep a comfortable pace and build in rest breaks as needed.

Is the tour suitable for elderly travellers or guests with limited mobility?

Many exhibits are close together, but there are slopes, gravel, and some stairs (e.g., mine tours). We’re unable to provide special drop-offs inside venues or mobility assistance. If you use a mobility aid, please bring it along; we can carry a foldable wheelchair subject to space. If accessibility is a concern, let us know before booking so we can advise what’s realistic on the day.

Is lunch included?

Lunch is at your own expense. There are cafés and a bakery inside Sovereign Hill, plus great options nearby in Ballarat. Your guide can recommend spots to suit your tastes and timing.

Are there bathroom stops?

Yes — facilities are available throughout Sovereign Hill and around Ballarat. We also schedule comfort stops during the drive as needed.

What vehicle do you use?

A luxury Mercedes-Benz people mover with leather seats, climate control, and phone charging on board for a comfortable day out.

Can we customise the itinerary?

Yes — within opening hours and travel time we can prioritise the sights you care about most (e.g., more time on Main Street or a quick city sights loop in Ballarat) while keeping the day running smoothly.

What happens if the weather is poor?

The experience runs in most conditions. We balance indoor and outdoor exhibits, adjust timings, and add extra breaks to keep you comfortable if the weather turns.

Can we take photos?

Photography is welcome in most outdoor areas. Some indoor exhibits or mine experiences may have restrictions — please follow staff guidance and posted signs.
